Fun

How much fun can you have in an afternoon?  Plenty with Creative Photography.  Children don't have to be encouraged to have a wild time, especially not Hugo and Cecile!

The rope swing was amazing, it brought back memories from (cough) years ago when we used to torment our parents by risking life and limb on these cobbled together contraptions!!

Outdoor sessions are easily the most fun, the hard part is keeping up with a big camera around our necks!  At least it keeps us fit.....

What a family!

We were fortunate enough to photograph Juliette, Paul, Charles and James thanks to Grandma's generous Christmas present of a Creative Photography gift voucher.

What a fabulous family, Juliette and Paul have been married for a hundred years and lets just say the love shines through!

The family asked for natural photographs of the boys doing exactly what they loved.  For the family this meant being outside.  For Charles this meant fencing in all his kit and as for James he was just happy either with his nose in a book or taking in the great outdoors!

I met them again today to deliver their album and as is customary James was knee high in mud, Charles was looking forward to a fencing trip to Hungary and as for Paul and Juliette they were just loved up after one of  Paul's frequent business trips around the world.

A New Baby

Welcome little Elliott, and by little we mean little!  Just short of 6 pounds, he made a speedy and early entrance into the world!

He was as good as gold and didn't fuss at all.  The basket is the smallest one we own and we have never photographed a baby small enough to fit in it, he looked so comfortable we were reluctant to lift him out.

Congratulations to a proud mum and dad who were the most relaxed newborn parents I have ever worked with.

Dawn

Lisa was keen on an early morning session for her family portraits.

Having seen some of our Guernsey Landscapes she was hooked on some mood and atmosphere in her pictures.  We arranged to meet Lisa, Rick and young Fred at Saints Bay just before sunrise.

We hoped we would get a decent sunrise and WOW were we rewarded!!

Helena

This is the lovely Helena. We had the pleasure of photographing her just days before her 13th birthday. She plays the oboe and she tap dances so we took her to the St Pierre Park Hotel for lots of lovely backdrops.

What a delightful young lady Helena was, just minutes into the session we forgot she was just 12 and there was much discussion about her own thoughts on the shoot. Helena was far more at home outside than inside and confessed to buying the hat purely for hockey sessions to keep her warm, but as you can see, forgetting the practicalities, it suits her perfectly.

Helena brought along a suitcase full of costume changes and her sense of style really shines through. We complemented her choice of clothes with a lovely vintage look which we think suits her just fine.

Thank you Helena we thoroughly enjoyed photographing you.

We look forward to receiving our share of the birthday cake soon..........
